Challenges that We Faced on Shoot Day 3
Now this is really important. The challenges that we faced on shoot day 3 really defined how our end project would be like.
And it's saddening to announce that the challenges got the upper hand on us, and adversely affected our project severely.
There was only one thing that went wrong, unexpectedly.
The gimbal that we were using malfunctioned. It's motors melted down during shooting. Whilst shooting a scene, we hear a pop, and the gimbal's dead.
This had a strongly negative effect on my grit, personally speaking. And I almost lost the will to continue the project. But my good friend Haseeb Bukhari , took the camera from my hand, and continued off with the shooting, whilst I regained my cool.
There were some dynamic shots, that I had planned in mind, that were only possible with a gimbal. So I had to call them off, and resort to static shots, since something is better than nothing. But those shots could have honestly propelled our movie to a different league. However, the universe not so politely declined.
Anyways, here's an illustration to visually depict how we were working together to make this project happen.
See you in the next blog post. Hasta la Vista!
